Celebrating Black History

We celebrated Black History this week with some special alumni guests joining us in yesterday's assembly and with a food truck in the Quad today.

This month is an opportunity to engage with Black histories, go beyond discussions of racism and slavery, and highlight Black leaders and accomplishments. Each year the Association for the Study of African American Life and History selects a theme for Black History Month and this year’s theme focuses on African Americans and the Arts. Check out our toolkit compiled by our Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for more ways to learn more about Black history, get involved and support local businesses.
